**********Just returned from a summer hiatus!! Hope all my buyers are doing well !!***********You are bidding on an antique stoneware beer stein made by White's Utica, NY that stands 9 3/4" tall to the top of the pewter lid. The date of manufacture is circa 1900. It features men drinking in a tavern with a barmaid, and the pewter lid is hinged and quite detailed. There is a German verse on the back, and the cobalt blue decoration on the entire stein is very vivid. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs on this stein. There is one glazed over nick at the base that was absolutely done in the manufacture in the kiln. (last photo) Please see all photos for appearance
and condition. Bid with confidence; check my feedbacks.
I have been selling antiques for over 38 years and am still learning something new all the time. I don't profess to be an expert.
The majority of the items that I list are from local estates or sales. With regard to shipping, since E-bay requires sellers to post shipping cost on the listings, I have elected to use the shipping calculator. Be aware, though, that the quote is often inaccurate and that the quote you see is for LOCAL shipping only. If the cost you receive with your invoice from E-bay seems too high, please send me a message BEFORE you pay, and I will get back to you with a more accurate cost as soon as I receive your question. Once in a while, when I get to the post office, the cost of shipping is lower than I anticipated. In that case, I will refund a portion of the difference to the buyer. I want to be fair to all my buyers and still keep my 100% feedback rating.
**********Please Note: I SHIP TO THE U.S. ONLY & ONLY ACCEPT PAY PAL.**********
