    Description

Every once in a while you find something that is not an ordinary model kit and when I saw this I knew that this is more than a model, when done this will be a work of art. It is something completely different and I fell in love with it when I saw it.
This model is not for your average modeler , this kit is for the artist ,the one that enjoys bringing kits to life.
The model is based on the artwork and brought to life by the very gifted Bruno Sanches.
Bruno has captured that look of loss on the Woodcutter and the yearning to have his love back with him...how many model kits can convey a story...
The model kit is a 3D print that was printed using a 4K machine to bring to life the excellent detail that was captured by the artist.
The kit consist of over 15 pieces and there will be puttying involved, this is why I said its a modelers kit... Most of the major work is on the keys of the tree and that can be easily hidden.
I cannot stress how beautiful to me this model is ...anyone that wants to try something different this is the model .

    Disclaimer
    :
This is a 3D resin print. It will have like all materials in making models slight imperfections. These imperfections does not mar the model in anyway and with the knowledge of modeling can be worked out of the kit.
A big percentage of the models are hollowed out, that are what the drain holes are for and some pieces can be solid also. The drain holes can be puttied in and sanded to match.
The models are printed no less than 2mm walls so they are thick
All models go thru a post-production process with sanding and using fillers for any defect that can be found, sometimes they can get over looked. I try to put in your hands a model that is ready to prime and paint.
Color of resin and filament may vary
Anytime you want a tighter fit, the resin part can be heated up with hot water or a hair dryer and it will make it easier to take a better shape. Just don’t overdo it.
    Working with FDM
Filament is a plastic substance that prints in lines and build up the 3D print. In order to fill some of the visible lines, a filler needs to be used, like wood filler or any Substitute primed and Sanded. I have heard that Badger makes a 2 part primer that works very well and from Smooth On a product called XTC which is an epoxie overlay.
If you are not comfortable going through these steps, maybe this model is not for you.
