Vintage Bamboo & Finials Table Top Art Frame Photo Easel Stand Plate Holder

Description

This is a vintage bamboo easel. Unlike most, it has finials on top. You can see that they have been there for quite some time.
The easel measures 15 inches tall (38 cm). The horizontal piece of bamboo that holds your artwork measures 8 inches wide and the sticks it is attached to measure 6 inches apart (20.3 cm, 15.2 cm).
Some people refer to this as Chinoiserie. I’m not exactly sure.
The two finials on top are made of spelter. The chain is made of brass.
Though the easel is in very good condition, when looking at the photos the right long piece of bamboo is a little darker than the left long piece of bamboo. That right side piece of bamboo also stands back a touch more on top than the other side. I’m being very picky here. The rest of it is in very good condition.
It’s a very solid and sturdy easel/holder.
It weighs a little under 6 ounces (164 g).
